Sign in

You sign in to Docuoria from the application you connect it to: add the connector (see Install), and the application opens this sign-in the first time it connects. You sign in with a one-time passcode sent to your email address.

The first sign-in

Your first sign-in creates your Docuoria user and a personal organisation with you as its owner, and the application connects. An address with an invitation joins the inviting organisation instead.

Choosing how to start

When your organisation holds no Docuoria purchase, the sign-in shows a page with three ways to start:

• Start free: the page sends you to Monaiq's claim page, where you confirm your address once more and accept the free purchase. Your organisation's first seat is that Free seat, and the sign-in continues to your application.
• I have a code: paste the code of a Docuoria purchase made on the marketplace or in the Monaiq portal. Docuoria confirms the purchase, adds every seat of it to your organisation, discards the code, and the sign-in continues to your application. An owner can also paste one later with docuoria account associate CODE, and docuoria login offers a code it finds on the machine.
• Ask an owner: when your team already uses Docuoria, ask an owner of your team's organisation to invite your address, then continue without a purchase. Open the link in the invitation email, accept it, then connect again. Until then your own organisation keeps its templates and ledgers readable, and extraction waits until it holds a purchase. Starting free instead creates a separate organisation with its own templates.

Managing the organisation

An owner manages the organisation in the browser, in the Docuoria account at https://www.docuoria.com/manage: the Team page for members, invitations and connection keys; the Plan page for seats, upgrades and purchase codes. A developer can do the same from the command line with the docuoria account commands (see the CLI reference), each signing in with a device code.

After the first sign-in

The application connects without asking again while its sign-in stays valid. Everyone in an organisation reads and writes the same templates, whichever application they connect.
